Derly Pérez is a Mexican-Puerto Rican writer & producer, based in New York City. She has worked writing and producing films for over a decade, many of which have garnered awards and have been part of international and national festivals.
Most recently, she was Co-Producer of Glitter & Greed: The Lisa Frank Story. She has also associate produced Deadlocked: How America Shaped the Supreme Court, a 4 part documentary about the supreme court past and present directed by Dawn Porter. She was also the AP on Dr. Death Cutthroat Conman a feature about the many victims of the infamous surgeon Paolo Macchiarini directed by John Pappas.
She has also Story Produced The First Step, a feature documentary about criminal justice reform that premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.
Derly is a graduate from Columbia University and the University of Puerto Rico
